Decent Inventory will never sell, lease, or monetize your business records, product costs, supplier contacts, or customer databases to advertisers, brokers, or competitors. Your commercial data belongs 100% to your enterprise.
1Information We Collect
When you create an organization or manage stores in Decent Inventory ERP, we collect the necessary business and administrative details:
- Account Credentials: Owner name, business name, registered email address, 10-digit mobile number, and encrypted password hashes.
- Business & GST Identity: GSTIN, PAN, registered office address, state jurisdiction, bank account details for UPI/NEFT invoices.
- Operational Transaction Data: Catalog items (SKUs, HSN codes, purchase/sale pricing), warehouse stock movements, customer and supplier ledgers, sales and purchase invoices.
- Technical Metadata: IP addresses, browser user agent, session cookies (for security verification and audit trail logging).
2How We Use Your Data
Your data is processed strictly for providing ERP software capabilities:
- Generating GST-compliant invoices, E-way bills, barcode labels, and payment receipts.
- Calculating real-time multi-location inventory levels, FIFO/weighted purchase costs, and stock valuation.
- Sending transactional OTPs, password reset emails, invoice PDFs to buyers, and WhatsApp payment reminders requested by you.
- Security monitoring, audit logs, and fraud prevention within your account.
3Multi-Tenant Data Isolation & Security
Each business registered on Decent Inventory ERP is strictly sandboxed. Row-Level Tenant Isolation ensures that no user from another company can view, query, or mutate your inventory, margins, or customer balances. All database connections utilize 256-bit SSL encryption in transit and encrypted storage at rest.
4Export & Account Deletion Rights
You maintain total sovereignty over your financial and inventory records. You can export your complete product master, sales ledger, purchase orders, and customer khata to Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) at any time. Upon contract termination or cancellation request, your records can be permanently deleted after the statutory tax retention compliance period.
